Her name inspires the work of the most accomplished wizards, and her overwhelming presence demands respect from sorcerer, fey, and eldritch alike; all who acknowledge her existence take a knee before the Spellswarm.
Yet, Ren’zar’s relation to magic may be misunderstood, as she is not it’s creator; the privilege of such a title resides only within the ranks of the Emilfëa. The Spellswarm is the designer of the Twine, the underlying structure through which magic surges from its extra-dimensional core.
Her influence endures millennia and extends over and beyond the visible, and her aura is palpably felt wherever she would decide to go. Even despite the exploits of deitiy, titan and humanity, her presence still permeates every corner of Irëdeule, for her hand played a significant role in the purge and containment of Trial Beasts, leaving indelible remnants woven into the fabric of the planet itself.
Attempts to capture Ren’zar’s image are rare, for she is considered a being of true magic, free from the confines of mundane containment. Thus, those few who have had a glimpse of the Spellswarm’s form reside with her in a place where her ethereal bosom and magic’s kind touch nestle and protect them from the trivialities of mortal existence; none have chosen to come back from her retreat, and those who do serve none but The Weaver’s desires.
Her temples are exquisite creations of light-lined stone drenched in an everlasting and scintillating mist of turquoise and pink hues; their structure, fluid and organic is designed to mirror the perpetual movement of universal energy. Scattered far and wide (and being as few as they are), these phenomenal structures serve as hearths for those who exhibit both minor arcane capabilities and enough curiosity about them; these spellcasters are drawn into becoming part of “The Swarm”, a devoted following that harnesses its collective magical expertise to uplift and improve the lives of the surrounding communities throughout Cyriedon.
The Spellswarm requires no tribute from magic users, for her intention in the creation of The Twine was a practical one, and the fact that some beings can tap into it is, by her accounts, a truly joyous coincidence. Yet, it is not rare to encounter spellcasters adorned with pendants that bear her holy symbol, a mark of their harmonious connection to her web of magic and a gesture of gratitude for such a life-changing gift.
Inna’wa, Ren’zar’s Aspect and a powerful female elf, lives secluded somewhere in Cyriedon. She holds no intention or motivation to engage with Cyriedonian’s unless under her mistress’s requirement.
